Dude sorry but this is seriously dumb.

First of all, the article behind the controversy is here

https://web.archive.org/web/20211128214718/https:/www.un.org/en/chronicle/article/benefits-world-hunger

It's written by George Kent. He doesn't seem like a very stable guy, from his students.

From bio here https://iprafoundation.org/george-kent/

He has worked as a consultant with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the United Nations Children’s Fund, and several civil society organizations. He is part of the Working Group on Nutrition, Ethics, and Human Rights of the United Nations System Standing Committee on Nutrition. He is on the Governing Board of the Hawai’i Food Policy Council, which he helped to start in November 2010

This is not a guy who wants to deprive people of food.

He expanded on his thoughts in this book

Book – Caring About Hunger by George Kent

In a world of abundant resources and wealth, hunger cannot be understood simply as a problem of food production. It is also a matter of human relations. Hunger grows out of widespread indifference and exploitation. The goal of ending hunger has been achieved in many places, including places where people are poor. In stable, strong communities, where people care about one another’s well-being, no one goes hungry. That caring is further strengthened when people work and play together. This insight tells us the direction we need to take to move toward a world without hunger. The problem of global hunger will be solved when we learn to live well together.

Whatever you think about him, this is not a person trying to starve the world.

So let's talk about the UN. If we're to believe this blog, Kent's article is proof that the UN are trying to starve people (even though that's not what the article says).

The UN is trying to starve people? So why the fuck do they have a billion dollar food program?

https://www.wfp.org/

Around 115million peoples' hunger has been lessened by the UN. Are they doing this accidentally do you think? Intending to starve 115million people but accidentally giving them food instead of taking it away?

Finally the headline is totally bogus. At no time in Kent's whacky career did he suggest or prove a "global elite". You're taking your idea of the illuminati or freemasons or whatever and applying it over Kent's article. That's your conspiracy theory. It's something you are applying to the text, a preconception which you bought to the discussion.

Anyway. This is dumb. A 15 year old weird article from a weird guy who works in food programs is not proof of your imaginary paranoid worldview. Go and re-read his weird article on the archive link above, we can debate it on its merits if you're interested, it could probably give rise to some good conversation. But it's not proof of anything more than, this Kent guy is a bit weird.

Accuracy in doubt.

Putting this article aside, it's impossible not to see the intentionally manufactured global /s/FoodCrises unfolding.

It's not impossible, how small minded of you. I see a food crisis unfolding but it's the ruzzians to blame, not UN or Canada and the Jews like the top links on that dumb subsaiddit
