See the large number of people who died afterwards from radiation poisoning.

They burned from the inside out, over days and weeks.

Then the huge number of cancer deaths.

The US has a history of downplaying this and pretending the bomb's biggest casualties were in the explosion.

I've always agreed with you but the article was well written and brought up some points I'd never heard before. And of course the US has a history of huge lies and obfuscations but I will side with you. I have never heard a Japanese person suggest those cities were firebombed.
