    Just remember for every lie that the experts might tell doesn't mean the other guy calling out the lies is right either.

    Never trust anyone that shies away from clarifying details and debate around their own positions. People who strongly feel confident in the truth of their own position don't see a need to shut down debate.

    It's also far easier to distract by pointing out what the other guy is wrong about rather than defending your own positions as well.

    Experts tend to welcome discussion. The ones who aren't experts are the ones shutting down speech.

    "Experts" also tend to have a quite narrow viewing angle on things someone calls them "experts" on mostly.
