Hacking human attention was there before all these "crisises" were there. It doesn't matter if they "report" on bullshit the ticks do in Hollywood, Davos, London, New York or somewhere else in the world. If i start to follow an information trail so to say it mostly ends when i ask somebody else or a "search"-engine for corroborating evidence. Then mostly these trails end after a shorter time, than i expected them to.

Not to underestimate can be the fact, that they also hacked the "free-time" of mostly all humans born after a certain point in this timeline plus their boomer grandparents with stupid and pointless mobile games, Facefuck-mass-data-vacuuming, YourTrash-propaganda or some "Kumbaya"-simulations like Instatrash or Snapfuck, e.g. The Chinese then even copied this with TikTok to further downgrade the mean attention span.

For almost every possible "bug" in human behaviour there is a "internet"-company that patented and implemented the dark-pattern to exploit it. A friend of mine even pointed out that they actually only hack the seven deadly sins again and again... Decade for decade, Century for century and so on...

My gut simulates to me that the attention span of most people "participating" in these bullshit-simulations only can go down in a timely sense through the daily overdose of bullshit. Their motivation to actually "learn" something about a thing is flushed down the toilet sooner or later. Because they also forget how to stomach all this bullshit even-though eating too much of it everyday again and again.

It's like they started to simulate for themselves that bullshit actually tastes fine, somehow.

TL;DR: They try to nudgeforce out the baboon OS that is hidden inside the amygdala of every human being. Because baboons are easier to enslave and to control than autonomous minds asking relevant questions.

The really fascinating question though is, how ticks can downgrade the OS of a "standard" human brain so efficiently that they can hack it so finely again and again. They even automatized most of the bullshit they try to sling on every screen in existence, so to imagine.
