The National Socialists were influential in the creation of the CIA itself and were involved in many of their operations. The Black Sun had a certain meaning to Himmler himself, so I thought about sharing some of its history.

The Black Sun symbol was located originally in the north tower of the Wewelsburg Castle, which was renovated by SS-leader Heinrich Himmler, and it was made out of green stone, not black. People consider it is actually three overlaid swastikas, giving it similar meaning to other sun symbols. There were twelve branches of the SS, so that may have been the relevance of the number of the Sun having twelve arms.
