There's so much meaningless information present nowadays and yet a huge amount of the population can be fooled into following the values of pop culture regardless of what is true or ethical. Understanding how the world around us works, protecting factual history and choosing which values to pass on should be the priority of intellectuals in a nation.

If any group wants to rebuild society then we really need to push the intellectual capacities of the people that form the group to the limit. The spiritual integrity of the nation depends on what intellectuals do.

Ok, lead the way. I have made the same type of plea before and found no one interested in collaborating on anything. Maybe it is because people are self interested and see more value for themselves in focusing on thier own financial success to donate any time. Maybe it is because information online is controlled and any potential opposition to authority is nipped in the bud.

I think it is a great and noble goal, but most of those die as soon as the time comes for real work to be done.

If you have a plan let me know. If you simply think "someone should do something", well someone sure should.
