The excuse for not investigating the rapes of white girls was community cohesion. If the wider white community knew Muslim rape gangs were targeting girls then that would give racists an excuse to target Muslims and cause fractures.

However that argument is clearly nonsense when it comes to the Sikh community. It's small enough that everyone would find out about any abuse pretty much immediately and it's not dealing with the problem which would cause violence.

The fact is that the UK Labour Party made a deal with Islamic leaders that they would get their communities voting Labour in return for protection and promotion. And it worked, every demographic in the UK stops voting left as they move up the earnings scale except for Muslims. The fact is that Muslim criminals in the UK are protected to get certain politicians votes. PCness is just the excuse.
