I wish. It's corporatism or corporate socialism or crony capitalism. Or yeah, straight up oligarchy. Your pharma example is good, so are 'too big to fail' corporations.

Capitalism isn't even really a political system, it is the natural state of trading freely with your neighbors. Our constitutional republic is failing for lots of reasons. Yes it is a terror state. CIA running drugs could certainly happen in a communist or capitalist system.

I don't even know what we're arguing, but I disagree with this authoritarian shit being a solution to anything.

That's fine. I'm just saying authoritarian governments can also work, not that they are the only solution.

I agree, lots of these hardcore nazi types seem to turn authoritarian. I don't say that as a smear, just like, there are other authoritarians.
