In The Matrix Reloaded, there is a pivotal scene where Neo meets with the Architect and is told about the true nature of the Matrix. The Architect was responsible for building a psychological prison to enslave humanity. The first Matrix was a paradise where all lived in happiness. The second Matrix was a hell where all lived in torment. Both of these worlds collapsed because they were rejected by the humans. Eventually, with the help of the Oracle, the Architect created a new Matrix which accurately reflected the real world, and where humans could choose to believe in the illusion or not. This is a snippet of the dialogue:

''...She stumbled upon a solution whereby nearly 99% of all test subjects accepted the program, as long as they were given a choice, even if they were only aware of the choice at a near unconscious level. While this answer functioned, it was obviously fundamentally flawed, thus creating the otherwise contradictory systemic anomaly, that if left unchecked might threaten the system itself. Ergo, those that refused the program, while a minority, if unchecked, would constitute an escalating probability of disaster.''

This has some interesting parallels to our own political situation. The Globalists who run the entire system are now forcing mass vaccinations on the entire population in an attempt to usher in their great reset. Large numbers of people have made the decision to accept the vaccines, and thus accept the illusion of our false system. Even if they were only aware of the decision at a subconcious level. But there are smaller numbers of people who are deciding to reject the vaccines, and to reject the system. They are a danger that may threaten the entire experiment.
