He means the Original Jesuits, as in "The society of Jesus" dedicated to the word and life of Christ. That order is gone, but there are still people who call themselves "Jesuits" in this day and age, he isn't denying that. I mean, this should be obvious but yeah... Call me Captain Obvious.
