Well there's been several reports from different people saying that trillions of dollars have gone missing from the Pentagon many times, I thought about adding another one.

This article, which is kind of outdated talks about a $10 trillion figure. While not all of that money has neccesarily end up in the pockets of corrupt politicians, the terrible management of the Pentagon is really disturbing. Just a single trillion dollars alone would be enough to boost all institutions in the US. (Education, health care, management of structures) But all of it is lost on the military and probably managing the mansions of politicians.

surplus output of the proles, wasted so our standard of living doesn't get too high, and we don't compete with the rich.

If you think about it, federal income tax is so high, if 200 million americans work, and make an average of $50k a year, and get taxed a third of that, it'd be about 3 trillion a year. US spends more than it takes in hence debt. That says it lost the ten trillion over 2 decades. Makes sense and it's probably a lot more wasted. The main thing the USA can and should spend our taxc dollars on is infrastructure but they ain't spending a trillion on that a year, in fact Biden's infrastructure plan is for $2 trillion over 8 years. And of course not all of that is actually for infrastructure. And repubs and manchin won't support it so it's not happening. We don't want taxpayer money wasted but we are against infrastructure and don't care that the military wastes so much.
