Pointing out problems with doom porn and being a critic is only helpful to a point.

You'll need to start bringing alternatives and solutions forward if you want to "oppose the government all tyranny in any meaningful way".

Thus far I haven't been impressed by any solutions from you.

As if Syrians and Jews only live in the Middle East. Yes many do, but both tribes have relatives and descendants around the world. (I dated a Naturopath Doctor in Seattle and she was half Syrian half Palestinian.) And ultimately, on the bright side of war, there's never been one that killed off everyone, try as hard as they might.
