A lawyer, Alex Murdaugh, from a prominent South Carolina legal family who found his wife Maggie and son Paul shot to death at their home three months ago was shot in the head and wounded Saturday after he had car trouble on a lonely rural road, a family attorney Jim Griffin said.

It has to be family of the girl his son killed in the boating accident, right? I am wondering now why the shooter didn't finish the job, unless this is a ruse to get the hitman or hitmen out in the open somehow.
