They actually change. But it takes thousands of years for the smallest of changes, and since only a tiny number of stars are part of "constellations", it's easy to overlook these tiny changes.

but it only take 6 months for us to move to the opposite side of the sun.

i dunno but i'm getting skeptical that space is what we are told. all we have to go on is the STORYS by these people i do not trust. and the stories soon get off the chart crazy... with billions of light years away silliness.

Yes, so? Our orbit around the Sun is only an infinitesimal fraction of the distance to even the closest of stars. There's no reason this change of angle would be visible.
