Or rather, I think it would be more accurate to say that Nimrod is based on Gilgamesh. For those of you who are interested in the religious conspiracies, the Nimrod of the bible was known as the world's first tyrant. Him and his family were the origin of paganism and those traditions endep up having a lot of influence in many modern religions.

So in a way, if the theory is true, then Gilgamesh was the origin of nearly all epic hero tales, religions and mythologies.

the bible is obvious bullshit, but comparing these 2 is massively reaching, even for low level 'conspiracies'. you could make an equal comparison to nimrod, gilgamesh, and howard the duck.
