When I think about one of the main problems people face in society the mental image that comes to my mind is that of many people walking close to each other in a big plaza, kind of like the ones in the big cities, with everyone dealing with their own business not caring about their fellow neighbour. It's a mental image that kind of feels me with sadness. People have to deal with so much pressure to be a certain type of ideal that they can't afford to show empathy for other people as they should. They become emotionally dull as a result and start becoming cynical towards everyone.

Not only should we be able to act in accordance to ethics more often, but we should also have people to rely upon when it comes to seeking answers and such. The information overload present in society has made it hard for authorities like that to show up. I suppose religious communities are the only groups truly resisting the corruption of the system and that's why they are constantly under attack.
