history cannot be clear in a couple of decades. history is written by the winners.

but honestly america and other major players in the world are much less wrong than the rest. otherwise we'd be in a very messed up world.

To me the control the ruling class has over the relevant institutions and the media is so huge that I don't think nation states even properly exist anymore. America is more ideology than an actual nation, it has become "Disneyland", like Baudrillard would describe.

Don't get me wrong, I know there is still a lot of people out there that have good intentions and all that and that they take caring for their nations somewhat seriously, which is the reason why the ruling groups are going out of their way to exterminate us all, but most people aren't knowledgeable enough like to understand how to change society for the better. While there are institutions that seek to help others, I don't think a single one properly exists that has a chance of affecting society to the point of starting a revolution.

So I find the idea of America as a nation kind of pointless, there is only universalism. And we will only have universalism as long as we don't create serious institutions or media sites that try to change society for the better.

yeah if you have a bird eye's view nations are a lot weaker than if you're a commoner.

the trick is to be slightly stronger than your fellow nations at the time.
