The duping delight on the face of the “rabbi” (combined with his words) and the genuine frustration/anger/tiredness/fear on the face of the “Palestinian activist” say everything, no context needed.

With context, the activist looks like he fears death but expects it, while the Rabbi looks very confident and comfortable as if he’s in his own house.

The Rabbi knows what’s going on fully well & enjoys its affects on Palestine and it’s people. Right now the activist is taking the metaphorical/symbolic role of all of Palestine for the Rabbi mentally in this encounter (this man represents all Palestinians to him and he’s revealing his feelings towards Palestinians by how he’s treating him when that type of violent talk isn’t even necessary), that’s why he’s reacting so violently, with glee, to a man he’s never sat down and had a real conversation with.

How his smile grew when the convo shifted from the bullet being in his butt to in his brain. Normal people don’t smile when they make threats like that. This gives him pleasure.
