While most people are free to use their resources in order to create confort for themselves and their close ones, could it be that most people in society have gone selfish to the point of making them apathetic towards the problems that society faces, all the more when it comes to opposing the ruling class?

I personally believe that people are simply ignorant towards it all and might seek ways to resist the system or at least be better informed about the way things worked if they had a better access to information, but regardless, society as a whole is facing a huge existential crisis when it comes to what their role should be in society. I'm sure that fighting in the information warfare will expose a lot of these subjects greatly, but will it be enough by itself and is society too corrupt like to be saved? It's a race against time, that much is for sure.
