The essessence of assessing conspiracies it not to assume that individual theorists know so much on their own (because much of the evidence is hidden), but to instead appreciate that conspiracy theorists can work collaborately to develop a useful database that can build a case for the conspiracy that's at issue. Thus the collective will always have incomplete information, as will the MSM, and both the collective and MSM offer useful information. It's not an either/or problem, ESPECIALLY if you are truly interested in understanding a conspiracy.
