A lot of the psyops the people in power use in order to keep people passive depends on their use of the media, so I think some of you could appreciate this quote from Kierkegaard.

It's Kierkegaard talking about the news being the main corrupting agent in society. A lot of the philosophy of Kierkegaard is about the way the media and the crowd keep passionate people from taking action and how dehumanized society has become because of it. So you guys should check out his works. All the more "Two Ages".
