So Ethereum for the win then :)

Yes and no.

It's not a contest. Don't put all your eggs in one basket: USD, banks, or just Ethereum. Don't save all your crypto on one thumb drive. Diversify and decentralize.

And make new crypto. BigsCoin, HibikiBlackCoin, and JasonCarswellCoin.

I have a little tiny bit of bitcoin, about $2k of eth, the rest in a savings account earning negative interest, realistically.

Planning on just dollar-cost-averaging $1k a month into eth. Can put aside another $500 a month but not sure where. Probably bitcoin, as stocks n shit are pretty much worthless now. Way above their earnings or shit interest.

If I could invest, I'd buy 1/4 Bitcoin 1/4 Etherium 1/4 6 other cryptos 1/8 gold and silver 1/8 impure silver like cutlery etc which can be purified if necessary, but importantly can be traded in small amounts. It's difficult to make change for a gold bar. A silver spoon is not just something some are born with. It may buy your groceries or whatever when the shit hits the fan.

Some years ago, listening to Peter Schiff, I stocked up on some little 1 oz silver bars, as some SHTF munny. Couldn't find any locally, so had to pay postage but hey, preparation is KEY, eh? *taps forehead

Couple of years later, needed some extra cash so figured I'd sell some silver.... couldn't find anyone here who wanted to buy it. Worthless.

I'm in Malaysia. Here they like gold, but silver? Nah.

I wasn't just offered a silly low price, I literally couldn't sell it. Ended up putting the bars into Xmas boxes for my nephews.

Not just Malaysia though. Saw a skit where that Brice or whatever he's called, goes walking around some town asking people which would they like, a chocolate bar or a silver bar? I'm sure he edited out those going for the silver but he had a long line of examples of people picking the cheap chocolate over the $50 silver bar.

Even while standing outside a jewelry and precious metals dealer, where they could literally walk in, exchange the bar for fiat currency, walk into the shop next to it and buy a fistful of chocolate bars and have plenty of change left.

So tiny gold coins, sure. Silver? Nah.

Keep drills clear of your skull. Lobotomies may seem like retarded fun but I assure you... um, what was I saying?

I wasn't just offered a silly low price, I literally couldn't sell it.

Wow.

Ended up putting the bars into Xmas boxes for my nephews.

Best uncle ever!

and have plenty of change left.

Crazy. Thanks for sharing that. Something to ponder on. Fortunately I don't have long to ponder as I don't have any invested.

I wonder if they make dime-sized gold coins. My grandmother left me a 1oz gold coin on a gold chain. I'll need to be wise with it. It's all I have that's of value until I get my projects going and earning.

Here in Malaysia you can buy some really tiny little gold coins, like 2 grams or wotnot. However I've learned in the past, you try saving up for a boat or something with gold... the "spread" is nasty! Like 35%.

Buy gold if you intend to hodl for the next 7 years or so, less than that and you might as well just let inflation eat your cash, as it's the same result with fewer steps.

decided that the federal reserve is a privately owned bank in 1983. It ws always a corporation and chartered as such, of course, unconstitutionally.

Not true... the FED has full backing of US corp and its charter can be revoked whenever.

What is "US corp"?

[–]JasonCarswellPlatinum Foil Fedora 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

All nations are incorporated, including the USofA. They also own the "person" on your birth certificate. These are very real legalese tricks the judicial system plays to have their way with their subjects.

Yeah. Speaking about that you might enjoy this video about how the NWO is actually a capitalist movement:

I don't agree with Drake with everything he says but he is spot on about how the NWO is actually a capitalist movement.

I disagree. Every nation has capitalist and socialist (and libertarian) elements. Balance is ideal (if we must have governance). The ruling class uses both to their benefit and to strengthen their totalitarian tendencies for more and more control and exploitation. Thanks for sharing the video though. May Milton rot in hell.

Yeah, but capitalism, as in the Darwinian version that the Jesuits follow is the main ideology behind everything. What we know as communism is actually a super-darwinian-capitalist system.
