There's been a lot of cases related to the pedo and child trafficking everywhere so I thought about sharing this event.

This is s part of American culture which seems so weird.

I think both Friends and Sex and the City had major storylines where rich women took babies from young, poor mothers for their own good. Then you have a whole lauded film, Juno, trying to sell that idea to kids from comfortable backgrounds as well. I'm sure people can think of many more examples.

There are plenty of orphans and kids in care up for adoption in the US. But then you have to have your background checked and offer something more than money and a nice house to impress a teenage girl with. Much easier to get a baby signed over to you by someone who's desperate or below the age of consent for other serious decision.
