Alexander didn't really persecute others based on religion, but that doesn't mean he was taking loans from them. Also he had no need for loans, after Philip had strengthened Macedonia enough for the war to start, Alexander was able to win massive spoils of war because on 2 occasions the Persian emperor himself went with the army. And on both occasions they lost, forfeiting their lavish supplies and riches carried along with them. Soon after that they conquered the 2 main capitals, gaining riches far exceeding anything in the past. Egypt was the same way down south. This sounds like some anti-westerner psyop bullshit.
