There's a lot of money that has been lost because of the bad actions of the government, the Pentagon itself admits at least billions of dollars has been lost in the past, I wanted to share this to remind everyone that the actual number is way higher.

Rumsfeld actually said the Pentagon had at least $2.3 trillion dollars unaccounted for. The 9/11 attacks happened shortly afterwards. Since it was in 2001, I wonder how much money has been wasted at this point?...

Excellent post. There were serious complaints at the time, and those complaints continued, but were also drowned out by non-critical corporate MSM (right, left and center of politics). It's part of an accounting process that is not tracked properly, and Cheney and his ilk have been among the most corrupt of Military Industrial Complex, earning millions, if not billions, in stocks since then. And it's getting worse, so that - instead of spending on war - Congresspeople decided to give themselves and the 1% massive tax breaks that have been a large portion of what's put the US $27 in debt. Regarding the Pentagon's abuses, see: https://www.truthdig.com/articles/the-pentagon-cant-account-for-21-trillion/

I heard a conspiracy theory that the CIA had financial records in building seven, which was targeted to be destroyed to remove evidence.

I can't speak about the CIA, but there was the Enron case among many others.

This was also part of the Oklahoma City Bombing a few years before.

Building 7 was the offsite backup for the Pentagons financial records. It is not surprising that it was destroyed.
