Political correctness is one of the main reasons why the level of discourse has been destroyed in nearly all media sites. I thought some of you might like this talk from George Carlin.

It's George Carlin saying some of his opinions on political correctness and how it destroys free speech. The real ideology responsible for corrupting the media everywhere is Post-Modernism, which is used by the stablisment to justify its sophistry.

While rare, right wingers do use political correctness. IMO unconsciously most people while not using the semantic games, they tend to enforce the usual narratives by force in order to defend their own biases.

That's how powerful and intrusive pop culture is on people's minds. SJWs are merely the biggest enforcers of it.

Political correctness is both left and right.

It's literally what you have to say to get the majority voting for you, or at least not completely alienate the press who then smear you.

You could argue speaking respectfully is more a right wing value than left, critical race theorists certainly do.

I'm not mistaken. The origins of political correctness are in marxist-leninist doctrine.

You mentioned something about fascism also being leftwing. I believe the worldview which divides politics along lines of markets/private vs. socialism/public is mistaken. Perhaps more clearly now, when enormous private capital and the state have teamed up under far-left cultural doctrines to enact one-party tyranny, than at any point in anglo-US history.
