I didn't know about the change in Google Maps but isn't it more likely that the change is to help hide new bases being built there by one or more countries?

that wind model still works with a flat earth. just look at anartica from above and then imagine a big hole in the center of antartica. then strech that hole and then you have created the great ice wall and realize that antaritica doesn't really exist.

The earth is round. When a ship crosses the horizon and enters view, you see it from the top first.

And with that model, the oceans should still be a flat plane. They aren't, which means the earth is round.

that model shows the ocean curved just like they are on a round globe model. the only difference is antartica doesn't exist. antartica is king georges island and maybe a couple more islands. the rest is an ice wall
