One need only look to India or China to see the result of overpopulation: resource depletion, pollution, competing to live in a seething termite colony where too many people have too little value and quality of life is not worth living.

Humans are using up natural resources at a rate that far exceeds the planet’s ability to keep up by “cutting down trees faster than they regrow, catching fish faster than the oceans can restock, pumping water from rivers and aquifers faster than rainfall can replenish them and emitting more climate-warming carbon dioxide than oceans and forests can absorb.”
