Well, the latter is just a legal fact:

The VICP uses a no-fault system for resolving vaccine injury claims

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Vaccine_Injury_Compensation_Program

and there's evidence of the former from even CDC advisory boards:

"These are immune responses, so if you feel something after vaccination, you should expect to feel that. And when you do, it's normal that you have some arm soreness or some fatigue or some body aches or even some fever," said Patricia Stinchfield of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners during the meeting.

Also the fact this thing is being rushed through the normal safe-checking procedures and long-term testing schedules that most vaccines are tested under. And on top of that, it's a new type of mRNA vaccine which has never been used publicly before.

So there's plenty of legitimate things to be concerned about here, unfortunately.

Just want to add that it is a standard part of clinical trials practice to test both safety and efficacy.

No safety data has been released for the Pfizer vaccine.

The VICP covers all vaccines listed on the Vaccine Injury Table maintained by the Secretary of Health and Human Services; in 2007 the list included vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), measles, mumps, rubella (German measles), polio, hepatitis B, varicella (chicken pox), Haemophilus influenzae type b, rotavirus, and pneumonia.

Presumably covid hasn't been added to this table?
