My grandparents are sick with it right now and they aren't crying up a storm. They still think the lockdowns are ridiculous, and they might die (ya know, cuz old people are liable to die if they get sick with anything)

On a side note, I remember being eleven and getting the flu and being so sick that I was hallucinating and sleep walking into the bathroom to throw up. I lost ten pounds. The flu can be a real doozy on your body.

If your kid actually got a pandemic-level virus, one with no cure, then he'd be dead, plain and simple! My grandparents would be dead next week, but I'm quite certain they will live and be fine for another couple years (until they do what old people do, and die) You are basically asking us to wear a mask and shut the fuck up because your kid got sick. How very noble.
