It's often confused with demon worship but it's kinda a more Christian approach than most Christians act.

This is the PR version of Satanism.

The Catholic church also has a PR version, but it also has a pedo version that is infiltrated by actual Satanism (or Baphomet, etc.).

I'll admit freely I don't know many Satanists but the ones I have were really nice people. I've known plenty of shitty Christians. Local Joel Osteen and his megachurch comes to mind. And we allow them to keep perverting religion for money when we know they're shitty people.

I can't condem Satanism when there are Joel Osteens in the world.
