Needless to say that the things we are exposed to in consumer culture aren't exactly the best influence on our health. A lot of people find it harder and harder to remain focused on a single thing. People's attention spam keeps getting lower, with children being more susceptible to this. This is all without counting the low quality of food and other cheap entertainment.
