In theory no, in practice yes.

Freemasonry isn't set up to be a bad thing but it attracts bad people.

Any org which creates secrecy and helps people get away with things will attract evil people, abusers.

Poor Alastair Morgan is still trying to get justice for his brother murdered by masons.

I agree with two of your points, but I don't agree with this one, IMO, this is kind of an exaggeration, as many societies exist which could be labelled secret (i.e. Rotary, Lions, etc etc). Doesn't render them evil though just because they hide their culture from non-members.
