"The City of Austin, ID2020, and several other partners are working together with homeless people and the service providers who engage with them to develop a blockchain-enabled digital identity platform called MyPass to empower homeless people with their own identity data."

Niiiice, experimenting on the homeless again? What the fuck do the homeless need access to their "digital identity data" for when most of them probably don't even own a smart phone? How exactly is this empowering homeless people?

They think homeless people, who are freer than most people think, that's if they are not on corporate benefits or drugs, are pieces of dirt. Most of them have crazy and sad stories, some of them chose to be homeless. But here comes the centurion overlord Fictional Corporate persons asking the real people to be tagged like dogs.

It's all about ownership and control.
