Oregon Public Broadcasting did a short segment on the Polybius arcade story about a year ago. I'll link if I can find it. Their conclusion was it had been a total urban legend, but that's exactly what THEY would want you to think isn't it? Some claim there is still a ROM of the game floating around somewhere on the dark web.

I read that the FBI would use such machines in the Oregon region and would come to collect the data during criminal stings. But this one game was special because it was tied to CIA psyop experiments.
