I think that the psychological aspects of humans have a somewhat powerful effect in shaping our perception reality, this is also the reason why the elites seek control of the media among other things. Jung is in my opinion the one who researched these archetypes the most. I think learning about them can allow us to gain a greater insight.

According to Jung, the Shadow refers to those parts of the mind that aren't accepted by society and are hidden from us, we usually tend to project those aspects to other people, but they are also part of us. The shadow not only contains instincts, but the archetypes too. Individuation requires people to face those dark aspects.

There is now an exact science of the mind. It has demonstrated that the shadow is most definitely not part of the person. And what you state is true: individuation requires people to face AND DEFEAT those dark aspects.

It's not so much about defeating the shadow as facing the truth. Defeating it would be just another form of repression.

"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." - Gospel of Thomas

There's very little in Freud or Jung which wasn't known by the ancients.

Hm... You do not understand. The exact science of the mind demonstrates, without any possible doubt whatsoever, that the shadow IS NOT PART of the individual. It is a foreign body.

Yes, repression is bad, and that's not how you DESTROY the "shadow". And destroying it leads one to become the Übermensch. There is no discussing this. It is fact.
