That's thoroughly besides the topic, and of no interest whatsoever. I'll let you muslims war that out between yourselves.

We're discussing Muslims and Islam. It is besides the topic? Okay, sorry for bringing a little bit of nuance to the discussion. Treating all Muslims the same would be like punishing all Protestants for something Catholics did. If you're going to comment on this issue, you should know the difference and why it matters.

OK but why, they are both muslims. If Sunnis are more violent and Shiites are peaceful, then it remains that you can't call "Islam" a "religion of peace".

My point was not a Sunni vs Shia thing. I'm saying, you can't take the opinions of a large chunk of Christians who are Catholic and say all Christians do this or that. Describing Christianity is much more complex than that, religion in general is a much more complex phenomenon. I just wish you'd have the ability to see the same nuance within a Muslim population. The Quran is a very open ended and esoteric book, it contains very little legal pronouncements and many people have different opinions and interpretations.

Yes, which is why there are the Hadith, the mullahs and all the other stuff I don't even know the name of. You aren't refuting any of my arguments or providing the asked-for evidence to support your own.
