A lot of pnemonia deaths were diagnosed as covid, which you can see in the corresponding humongous drop in pnemonia deaths as compared to every other year. So the overall number of deaths is not much different.

No, the decrease in pneumonia death can be explained by the social distancing and stay at home measures that were eventually taken.
