Does anyone else feel that division between 'Left' and 'right' only serves to further divide us?

If the left and the right agreed to return to what the United States was originally intended to be, then we would be a union primarily for the causes of defense, trade, and treasury. We could redraw some state lines, make the left cities into city-states, and the left could have sovereignty over themselves and the right could have sovereignty over themselves.

The only people it would screw over are the ruling elite.
