There are lots of us who recognize the divide and conquer tactics being used out there. You are not alone.

I consider myself on the right but I don't care about spreading division against anyone. Even many leftists aren't bad people. If someone wants to set up a commune, more power to them. If someone wants to be a leftist on this site, that's fine, as long as they don't want to censor others.

However, I do think that the biggest threat against freedom are super-rich "progressive" people who want to reduce national sovereignty and individual rights for the sake of "social justice". E.g. George Soros, Bill Gates, and the UN.

Thank you. Just because someone has a different opinion from you doesn't mean they are a bad person. I wish more people would keep that in mind when they comment on sites like this.

I'm fairly left-leaning myself but I think conservatives deserve a platform too. It doesn't sit right with me that Reddit banned /r/rightwinglgbt...

I don't even know what I am politically any more. I just see this ugly "progressivism" has taken control of the left wing and I know I'm not that. I also know that I like my country, the UK, and I am tired of having it treated like it's awful. We're not perfect but we are still good.

In my workplace I see growing animosity towards white men because they make up more of the board than proportional to the population but I have no fucking clue why that is meant to matter unless you presuppose race and sex as centrally important in how you view the world. They aren't nothing but they sure as hell aren't everything.

Not just the rich progressives, just rich folks in general, lol. Both sides use the symbols/causes of the people to stoke the fight against each other so that the average person doesn't notice that we all are getting screwed. Just look at what happened with the covid relief bill in congress, they delayed two week to fight over the size of the corporate loans instead of pushing out the individual cash relief. No fight over payroll support, rent forgiveness, health care support, etc. People have to stay home for everyone's safety, but we're not going to make it financially possible.

The days of the "noble opposition", where the left and right had values and argued passionately so that we all ended up with a decent solution at the end of the day. I wish there was an actual strong socialist left to argue with a competent libertarian wing, but it's all theater and profiteering now; tokenist profiteering left vs. ignorant zero-government right ensures we, the people, lose.

Not sure how the UN reduces sovereignty and individual rights for social justice? They do it out in the open via "security" and economic leverage. "Justice" can sometimes play a part in providing cover to invade one country rather than another.

Hallelujah first time I've seen my political beliefs written out on the internet

Not so sure about Bill Gates. He might be astray, but I don't see him as a propagator.

what does that mean?!
