There are a lot of people here who also don't like it. Someone commented (don't remember if it was here or another site) "it's like you get to choose between pepsi and coke every 4 years" for Americans. (Are you speaking of American "left" and "right" here?) I would rather focus on policies and doing well as a country. I'm tired of all this destructive stuff people do to get elected.

SaidIt tries not to police opinions too much so there's probably always going to be people saying stuff you don't like. That doesn't mean they speak for anyone but themselves. You can block individual accounts if you get a comment reply from them by looking at the reply in your inbox.

Ay I guess as a non-American the constant us vs them mentality to jarring.

Maybe we can try to foster that mentality within the conspiracy community here.

Just try to remember it's about another person's country, don't feel the need to get caught up in it (beyond being aware of international trends or whatever) because it isn't about you. People sometimes get caught up in something and forget who they're talking to online, that's all.

I prefer "anti-corruption". I've never really been a close part of the conspiracy community but uncovering real corruption and malicious plots is so important. I'm grateful for everyone helping with that. I hope it can stay focused on the important parts.
