A lot of them are hijacked, but there are grassroots revolutions occasionally. To believe otherwise is to believe the entire world is the machinations of the intelligence agencies, which is of course something that someone from an intelligence agency would love everyone to believe.

There needs to be an organic movement for intelligence agencies to hijack, it isn't all smoke and mirrors

No, there are grassroot movements within protests but without counterIntel. people, they can easily get infiltrated for ulterior agendas.
