I agree, regardless of the autopsy, police still killed 1004 people in 2019. That's too many

it's ok to kill people being violent and attacking cops and that is majority of them, 1000 out of 320 million is not bad, even more die of the china virus which itself is not as bad as car accidents or being bit by a snake

Yes actually it is quite bad compared to every other developed nation. Police are supposed to protect and safeguard us, not kills us by the hundreds.

Germany has on average 0.3 people killed by police per year. UK has 1 per year. US is closer to Brazil than Western Europe. It's sad. It's not ok.

The US also has the highest prison population in world history, both in raw numbers and per-capita.

compared to other nations even it's not bad

just a minor blip, with stats like this we need to focus on larger causes of death, that is if you really cared

USA has more black people who tend to be more violent so of course they will be in jail more

The thing is though, the people shouldn't have to be afraid of their own police killing them. That's the real problem. There's no one to turn to for help, because those people are untrustworthy, because there is no justice for police misconduct.
