Set mood to rambunctious/edgy. Something about the Presidential Alert worries me.

I'm not really sure what to feel about the alert thing either, except this: that weird line in the article I read that, to me, was too vague in stating something along the lines of "if circumstances arise" it will be postponed?? What?

This morning I had a creepy feeling for a sec while thinking/talking about that and the line that stuck with me (obviously the sentiment I took, not the exact wording), and in that creepy moment I was basically like "omg, what if... there's an event?!" Which I DO NOT like even thinking OR saying here...ugh.

And then there was that workplace shooting. Coincidence likely but.... not cool.

You have a vague, free-floating feeling of paranoia, especially when you hear the word event? That is normal, and just the way they want you to feel. I figure the events are spaced about a month apart on average, and the perpetrator is always either dead afterward or is unavailable for any sort of interview at all—even in print. Seems like a regular pattern.

So, everybody already got the call then?
