Some advice for anyone who wants your truths to be heard by a wider audience. Especially those of you who say things like "Google the Rothschilds, idiot."

Don't be a sarcastic asshole.

"Google the Rothschilds, idiot" is going to convince nobody to your side. A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. Your best weapon is kindness and understanding. Treat people like your friend who just found out his wife was cheating on him. Sympathy and understanding that they were fooled. NOT abuse for not realizing it sooner.

Provide references. Do not tell people to "Google it." First of all, Google censors their search index. Use Qwant.com instead. Second, don't just leave a link to a lmgtfy.com link. That makes people feel insulted. Do the search yourself, find a credible source, and post that link directly.

Cite credible sources whenever possible. You can say the mainstream media are corrupt, and they are, but posting a link to their stories about whatever topic will going to get more converts for the foreseeable future. Especially to stories from years past before today's hyper-partisanship.

It's no good to post a link to a 4-hour Youtube livestream, or a mystery blog festooned with a thousand graphics and spinning neon skull .gifs. If you must, fast forward the video to the correct point and use Youtube's "Share" button the click "start at" to get a link to the relevant section. Provide links to specific blog articles instead of the front page.

Keep it short. Instead of rattling off a string of damning statistics, cite one and leave it there. People won't read long posts unless they're well-written and interesting. Unless you're a professional writer, keep to the principle "less is more". If you're going to tell people the truth, give it to them in digestible doses.

Don't lie. This one is really important. If you get someone actually interested, and he starts doing his own research, he better not be able to debunk you with the first link that came up. For example, I saw something that said, "″Poltergeist″ actress Heather O’Rourke died at age 8 on the set of Poltergeist 2!" Wrong. She died at 12, after making Poltergeist III (note the Roman numerals), and it was not on set.

This kind of thing is very damaging. It is also exactly what intelligence agencies do, as we know from Wikileaks. They will take something true, add easily disproved B.S. to it, and post it everywhere. Call people out if they do this, and provide true information and links in your reply. DON'T tell people to "Google it".

I just checked and both events occurred on April 19th, like he said. A reason for the Oklahoma City bombing was an act of revenge for the Waco incident.

I've spent my whole life trying to discern what's real, so to me, the whole "I see conspiracies" mindset is whack.

None of the 'conspiracies' you get excited about are real. The world doesn't work that way. For one thing, you give humans way too much credit for concocting these schemes, coordinating with others, carrying them out successfully, and keeping their mouths shut afterward. If only humans were that capable!

It's not a "council of evil" with meetings in deserted castles during a thunderstorm. But it is a hivemind. Sort of like the Linux kernel or open source in general. People know what to do without being told.

Hey, did you know the CIA dosed people with LSD in an attempt to control their minds? Crazy conspiracy theory, right? Guess what, it actually happened. Know who came up with the term conspiracy theory to get people to laugh at the truth? The CIA. Yup, it happened!

Did you know the NSA committed multiple extremely serious felonies by breaking laws meant to keep us safe from them spying on us? It happened, we have proof. Everyone but one person were capable enough to keep their mouths shut about it.

How about the CNN debate moderator leaking the debate questions to the Democrats? That happened too. Everyone kept quiet about it.

Those weren't conspiracy theories, but were situations learned after the fact. it's normal to not advertise everything being done, and of course, intelligence services operate clandestinely.

But the many conspiracy theories discussed on the Internet are not true.

They were totally conspiracy theories...until they were proved true. Who knew thousands of people could keep quiet about the NSA spying on us, in violation of law passed by Congress? There were people on the internet saying we were being spied on for decades, and they were dismissed as crazies. Because thousands of people would have to be involved, nobody can coordinate an operation that big, etc.

Did you know that intelligence agencies participate in discussions like this? They do what you're doing, pooh pooh ideas. They also add easily debunked lies to true ideas and propogate them, making people doubt the truth. We know this for a fact.
