In May 2017, Seth Rich's brother Aaron Rich issued a statement saying, "We simply want to find his killers and grieve. Instead, we are stuck having to constantly fight against non-facts, baseless allegations, and general stupidity to defend my brother's name and legacy."[4]

The family spokesperson said "At this point, only people with transparent political agendas or sociopaths are still perpetuating Seth Rich conspiracies."[144]

His parents authored a piece in The Washington Post on May 23, 2017 titled: "We're Seth Rich's parents. Stop politicizing our son's murder," in which they wrote:

We are asking you to please consider our feelings and words. There are people who are using our beloved Seth's memory and legacy for their own political goals, and they are using your outrage to perpetuate our nightmare. We ask those purveying falsehoods to give us peace, and to give law enforcement the time and space to do the investigation they need to solve our son's murder.[14]

In March 2018, Rich's family filed a lawsuit against Fox News, Fox reporter Malia Zimmerman, and Fox contributor Ed Butowsky, for publishing a news report about Seth Rich. The suit alleges that the report fueled conspiracy theories about Rich's death and caused the family emotional distress.[145] Judge George B. Daniels dismissed the lawsuit in August 2018, ruling that, although it was reasonable for plaintiffs to believe their son's death was being used for political purposes, the plaintiffs failed to allege "intentional infliction" of emotional distress on the part of defendants, as that standard is determined under New York state law: "defamatory statements to news outlets 'fall well short of meeting the high standards for extreme and outrageous conduct.' They would have had to prove more extreme and persistent distress under the law."[146] The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit overturned the dismissal in September 2019 saying, "the Riches plausibly alleged what amounted to a campaign of emotional torture."[24]

Also in March 2018, Aaron Rich filed a lawsuit against Butowsky, Couch, America First Media, and The Washington Times for suggesting he had played a role in the purported theft of emails from the DNC.[147] On October 1, 2018, as part of a settlement they had reached with Aaron Rich, The Washington Times retracted the relevant articles and issued an apology to Rich and his family.[148]

You just went on proving that the family is naive.

DNC shills..

You can't reason with such individuals. They throw their own children to moloch, abstract ideas such as truth have no chance.

[–]RickC-137[S] 3 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

Yeh....this guy thinks that the public and police would stop looking for a murderer just because the family said that they don't want them to. What sort of fuckery is going on in his brain?

[–]daikuji 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

oh im a DNC shill, and you arent a GOP shill?

[–]jamesK_3rd 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I tend to think of myself as a concerned third party.

In The two partysystem the GOP aren't generally hostile to me or my way of life like democrats are. But In some ways that makes them more dangerous..

Whereas The democrats generally hate freedom and individual autonomy for restricted socially responsible freedoms and pine for the collective good.. This makes it easy to understand where I stand with them. The GOP is generally hostile to my way of life, but not openly and in some cases are neutral or even indifferent to me.

You don't get a 2 trillion dollar bailout package that gives average Joe a one time payday of 1200$ while Congress approves themselves 85,000$ per month maximum for their childcare during these trying times of the Rona if the GOP doesn't silently approve and relish in it. Comparatively, it's as if the dems are true believers and the gop are just in it for the quick score.

As with the access media, they don't attack the system, they throw their children upon it because the agenda is more important than any single individual.

It's a tragedy for his family for sure. Sometimes getting justice isn't easy, because it means we may share or at least feel that we share some culpability. It can call into question beliefs, values and ideas that most ppl cannot accept having look at the possibility they might be wrong. When i see answers like they've spouted of before, i know it's because they can't look at anything which would bring any further pain.

sorry pal, if you buy into the right wing lies, you are a GOP shill

You're a better DNC shill than the last one they sent but you're pretty easy to see through. Soooo soft and squishy. You're going to get eaten for lunch around here.

His family should stay off the innerwebs if they are that tender of souls.

Just because they are either dumb, naive or threatened and blackmailed doesn't mean that the truth shouldn't be sought. Labeling something a "Conspiracy" is a sign that you lost the argument. Take all the facts and refute them instead of trying to bury them with "muh (brainwashed liberal)-family".

You think it's funny?

The USA is the single most threat to global peace in the world. Its political system is entirely corrupt, as all governments are.

Exposing the truth about these corrupt organizations are their only weaknesses. That's why the permanent shadow government has their deep state and secret agencies do so much of their dirty work globally. Do you know how many secret agencies there are in the USA?

Worth noting is the primary puppet master and IMO, the second most threat to global peace: Israel. Seth Rich has some deep ties there, as does his family. Personally, I suspect that if he's still actually alive, he's living there.

There are deeper ties than what the limited vomit MSM will spout at you. Look deeper. It's not difficult. There's an abundance around.

[–]daikuji 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

you said USA is the single most threat to peace?, i agree with you, and its just gotten worse under trump

[–]RickC-137[S] 5 insightful - 4 fun5 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 4 fun -  (8 children)

No thank you. Their "wishes" are bought and paid for, or by threat, or by stupidity.

no

[–]RickC-137[S] 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (6 children)

Do you really think that the public and the police should stop looking for Seth Rich's murderer just because the family doesn't want us to? Some deep pockets want them to say such things.

[–]daikuji 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

i didnt say that, but keep him out of the conspiracies and lies

[–]RickC-137[S] 3 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 4 fun -  (4 children)

But it isn't a conspiracy or lies.

yes it is

[–]RickC-137[S] 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

No it isn't. What is a lie exactly? How do you know something is a lie when the killers haven't been found yet? How did you rule something out? What evidence do you have that something is false?

[–]Zahn 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (4 children)

Dai, why are pretending to care about his families "wishes"?

Investigators determined that Seth Rich likely died in a robbery attempt. There is no evidence to support accusations of a conspiracy.

George Papadopoulos, however, who met with a likely Russian agent and married a suspected Russian asset, became a foreign policy advisor on Donald Trump's campaign team and repeatedly tried to arrange a meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin as well as with other Russian agents.

Papadopoulos also was caught and convicted of lying to investigators trying to uncover the truth of matters.

[–]RickC-137[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

[–]JasonCarswellPlatinum Foil Fedora 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

There is no evidence to support evidence of a robbery. Nothing was stolen.

The evidence actually supports Seth Rich providing critical content to WikiLeaks.

Assassins shoot in the head. Rich was shot twice in the back and it appears there was a struggle since bruises were found on his hands, knees and face. He was killed at 4:20 am in a neighborhood plagued with robberies. He'd been in his regular bar until they closed.

Investigations by homicide detectives, the intelligence community and Robert Mueller's team all concluded, with evidence, that Rich was not involved in the leaked DNC emails, so the reason conspiracists give for an assassination are not credible to begin with.

Furthermore, the trail of the initial claim of his 'assassination' began with a single baseless tweet, then got rolling on r/The_Donald — yeah, that's right, on Reddit.

The evidence actually supports Seth Rich providing critical content to WikiLeaks.

That is absolutely false. Russian intelligence and their ally Julian Assange tried to obfuscate the investigation of the hacked emails, but both the intelligence community and the Mueller investigation found them to be the culprits, not Rich, resulting in the 2018 indictment of 12 Russian military intelligence agents.

[–]JasonCarswellPlatinum Foil Fedora 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I don't even think he's dead. He was walking around at the hospital and seemed just fine. There were agents there. Bad paperwork. The nurses reported a lot of suspiciousness around the whole matter.

The "intelligence community" are the biggest liars on Earth, Mueller included. If you believe them then you'll believe anything and your judgement can't be trusted for shit.

Seth Rich WAS involved in the leaked content or Julian Assange wouldn't have offered the reward for information about his death, among countless other clues. Fuck Reddit and The_Donald, and I've never been there for information on Seth Rich, yet I clearly know more than you do.

Calling Assange a Russian ally is utterly ridiculous, though he is a limited hangout for the establishment to be certain. Russiagate as the MSM put it was utter garbage, but there was a real Russiagate as The Antedote can clearly explain that involves the Jewish-Russian mafia and Trump's bailouts. There's no shortage of legit shit to prove the connections but the mainstream corporate media won't go there. Also Hillary, like most billionaires, has ties to Russia. It's not unique to Trump. It's a globalists game.

Next you're going to tell me Oswald acted alone in killing JFK, because you were told so.
