What if there's an invisible teapot floating on the orbit of mars?

The burden is on you to prove the government is wrong.

[–]fred_red_beans 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (8 children)

Bullshit.

Show me the data that shows a significant rise in deaths now than any other year. Not estimates, not predictions - data.

The burden is on the government to demonstrate that the risks outweigh the actions that are now being taken.

Only partly right, according to the constitution the government cannot prevent people from assembling, lock people in their homes or face arrest, and shutdown businesses, regardless of the perceived risk. Our rights do not go away during an emergency.

You're right, our rights do not go away during an emergency. I guess I've observed our rights being so eroded or encroached for the last decades that I've just become conditioned to it.

Show me the data

Have you been living under a rock? Look at this video at 6:54 for a comparison of peak death rates from flu, swine flu, and the current daily death rate of COVID. It is more than double.

The burden is on the government

The government provided data. You didn't. Where is your data?

Edit: Compare China and South Korea who took early measures, with countries that didn't. There you have your risks and mitigations.

Don't trust China, South Korea, or the US governments. They ALL have their own agendas and goals on the world stage and at home. The corporate "mainstream" media also serves the corporatocracy so if you want to trust then you must verify too. If the government AND alternative sources agree, then it's pretty solid, otherwise triangulate using contrarian viewpoints with their biases and agendas to find your own skeptical truth.

[–]danuker 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Oh really? And how exactly would this agenda unfold with everyone staying at home? What is the point? What can they possibly gain? You have still not replied to my comment here.

They need this virus to implode the economy, just as engineered as the 3 towers on 9/11.

The REAL disaster is YET TO COME. Though part of it is being pushed through with the EASE IT Act among other radical drastic measures the government is doing to exploit this manufactured crisistunity. Disaster capitalism.

[–]danuker 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

So you're saying they needed an excuse to print money. They can print money for themselves without locking us in our houses (just hospital investments, as an excuse).

Do you mean "EARN IT" act? How is everyone staying at home and looking online, with lots of free time to spare solve anything? If anything, it'd increase the reach of the White House petition. Sign the petition.

LOL!

Oh my, that was a scary dramatic video. I think I'm gonna go back under my rock now.

Data?

Here's some from the "authority" Johns Hopkins University - coronavirus disease 2019 vs the Flu:

Deaths

COVID-19: Approximately 75,945 deaths reported worldwide; 10,993 deaths in the U.S., as of Apr. 7, 2020.*

Flu: 291,000 to 646,000 deaths worldwide; 12,000 to 61,000 deaths in the U.S. per year.

This is still not a significant global increase.

Additionally, there is no reliable test for a specific COVID-19 virus:

Manufactured Pandemic: Testing People for Any Strain of a Coronavirus, Not Specifically for COVID-19

The ‘gold standard’ in testing for COVID-19 is laboratory isolated/purified coronavirus particles free from any contaminants and particles that look like viruses but are not, that have been proven to be the cause of the syndrome known as COVID-19 and obtained by using proper viral isolation methods and controls (not the PCR that is currently being used or Serology /antibody tests which do not detect virus as such). PCR basically takes a sample of your cells and amplifies any DNA to look for ‘viral sequences’, i.e. bits of non-human DNA that seem to match parts of a known viral genome.

The problem is the test is known not to work.

It uses ‘amplification’ which means taking a very very tiny amount of DNA and growing it exponentially until it can be analyzed. Obviously any minute contaminations in the sample will also be amplified leading to potentially gross errors of discovery.

Additionally, it’s only looking for partial viral sequences, not whole genomes, so identifying a single pathogen is next to impossible even if you ignore the other issues.

Anyone can be found to have this coronavirus.

Proving God, or an absence thereof, is not a relevant argument. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell's_teapot

There is nooooooooooooooooo shortage of government lies throughout history.

Blind faith in government is even stupider than blind faith in God, because government is verifiably abusive, exploitative, and deceitful.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanlon's_razor is the excuse the government perpetually uses, but when it always works in their favour it's clear that it's more than just bad luck and stupidity.

If God exists, he is either all powerful but does not care, or he cares for us but is utterly impotent to help us. Why call him God? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicurus#Epicurean_paradox

Fuck God and fuck the Invisible Pink Unicorn. How do I know it's pink if it's invisible? The Flying Spaghetti Monster reached out his noodly appendage and touched my forehead and I saw that his balls were mighty and meaty. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster

I agree in general. But I don't see what we are being scammed out of, by staying at home in this circumstance.

  • A future? Government depends on our future, through work and taxes.
  • Confidence in government, because it pointlessly keeps us home while even doubling hospitals is not enough? Government depends on confidence.
  • Money, because they get an excuse to print more money and devalue ours? They don't need an excuse, they just print it.

They need the smoke screen of fear - to keep us "safe", to legitimize scams, and/or rig new laws - for the majority to accept their new full spectrum dominance.
