America is not a democracy, it's a constitutional republic. The people don't choose their ruler, the people choose the people who then choose their ruler. And honestly, I prefer it this way. The founding fathers predicted (and I think we're starting to see what they meant now more than ever) that democracy was just mob rule, and the mob is insanely easy to manipulate. Just last elections, Hillary Clinton had won the popular vote and yet, Donald Trump still won the electoral votes. Do you know the absolute shitstorm that would've unfolded if she had won? It's funny cause now leftists have had to begrudgingly agree that she was a horrible candidate, after all the shit with the e-mails, and, more recently, the Epstein scandal. Imagine if she had won presidency! You would probably think the world is ending soon, if we were even still alive, considering she rubbed Putin off the wrong way.
