Well if a YouTube video says so then it must be true. I also just found out recently that the Earth is flat as well!

What makes you skeptical about his skepticism?

2 of my coworkers have gotten it, another person I know has had a family member die from it.

That's pretty convincing.

Were they positive it was COVID-19 and not just a flu? My dad just had a bad flu, definitely not COVID (he's a retired doctor).

Also, the other person, were they old or weak? People do die all the time (and now we're hearing a LOT of people's deaths are being misdiagnosed - intentionally). And the older you get the more people you know that die. I was aware of people dying all the time a couple years ago before my grandmother died. Now, it's just occasional.

Just remaining skeptical. And cautiously not ruling it out either.

Max Igan, aka TheCrowhouse has it right, as usual.

I've heard that too a few times, as with almost if not every one else. I have yet to see convincing proof of anything. We all have our blind spots and/or taboos we won't discuss.

It might be amusing to come up with a spectrum for truthers. Say from James Corbett to Alex Jones. Or maybe they go in the corners and we need another couple for the other two corners on a grid. Or maybe instead of them, we have certain truther values. I don't know who you'd trust to rank them. Almost any form of voting or polling can be rigged and will doubtless be biased by whatever groups you appeal to participate. And of course there's a difference between seeing a few videos/reading a few articles, and being familiar with dozens if not hundreds of samples of their works - or not even hearing of them, or worse, thinking that you might have heard of them and stabbing a rank at that suspicion in the dark. Nonetheless it would be fun.
