Kinda makes you wonder if people would be better off if all connections to media were completely severed.

This is a fact.

However, the brainwashing goes back to an even younger period in our lives.

A significant part of public education is dedicated to programming our young minds.

That's why everyone is told they could someday be an astronaut... ;-)

Totally agree the major role of public education is programming. It's been out rightly stated that public education was instituted to instill nationalism.

I'm not sure if nationalism is inherently bad. The globalists are attacking it, so there are clearly some positive qualities.

It could be a positive thing, if coupled with Independence, and critical thinking, and empathy.

Those are BIG ifs. Anything and everything could be improved with independence, critical thinking, and empathy.

Not gonna happen. Most people are stupider than average or really close.

Of course nationalism is bad. You're brainwashed. All of the "us vs them" isms are bad. I'll even admit the us vs the ruling class is bad too - except that it wouldn't exist if the ruling class were actually benevolent not Machiavellian exploiters/warmongers.

Globalism is worse. We need more regionalism and decentralization of all things.
